Personal data protection policy

ParamitaLab ets ("us", "we" or "our") operates the paramitalab.org, studioatelierista.org, mobeco.it websites (the "Service").

This page informs you of our policy regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our Service, and the choices you have regarding that information.

We use your information to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy shall have the same meaning as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible at paramitalab.org, studioatelierista.org, mobeco.it websites.

Why we ask for some of your personal data

We need some of your personal information in order to register you for events and support your participation in ParamitaLab. An account is created for you on our database in order to record your participation in our curriculum or other programmes, your level of study and practices. This also allows us to secure access to restricted content. We do not collect any personal data from you apart from what is needed to provide and oversee your participation in ParamitaLab.

Why your consent is required

ParamitaLab takes privacy very seriously. We only keep basic personal data which you provide and that records your participation. In accordance with ParamitaLab ethics and to comply with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), we ask you to give us explicit permission to record your information when registering for any of our programmes.

What we do with your data

For the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance, this information is located on servers within the European Union. Your personal data is stored in the ParamitaLab Database, where we process and have access to it. We have a data protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.
We send you a confirmation email, to which you must respond, whenever you subscribe to one of our newsletters. Furthermore, we will email you at least once a year that allows you to verify your personal information, allows you to update your email subscriptions or remove yourself from all email lists, and through which you can delete your account.

How long we keep it

Your information will be kept until you notify us that you no longer wish us to keep it. If you are not reachable by email, you will be deleted after 6 months. One of our Database Administrators may require that you confirm by opting in again if you are inactive for more than 5 years. Inactivity means that you have not registered for a programme or participated as a member during that period. If you are inactive and do not confirm your wish to remain, you will be deleted from our database.

What are your rights?

If at any point you believe the information we have about you is incorrect, you can change it by filling this form. If you wish to delete your personal information or raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us at info@paramitalab.org.

Newsletter subscription

We recommend that you subscribe to our newsletters to receive information about future events. This information is not shared with third parties for any purpose, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
