Staff conditions for residential activities:
The heart of our work is a community of practitioners. Working at PL goes hand in hand with community life on land.
The working day is varied and depends on your role and department. Staff have the opportunity for at least two hours of personal free time per day, regular teachings by local and visiting teachers, community celebrations, study groups, etc. The working day begins at 7.30am with the morning circle, followed by the 'daily meeting' at 8.00 am to discuss work and other matters before work starts at 9:00 am.
All staff take part in scheduled service activities to complete household chores.
There are two days off per week and staff receive 5 weeks holiday per year.
All staff have a tutor and go through a probationary period for the first month to see if they, and we are happy with the arrangement before making a longer term commitment.
