How We Work

Depending on the context and needs of those who arrive, our work takes different forms: intensive exploration laboratories, collaborative support with organisations, and the co-creation of projects that eventually become autonomous.

We do not use protocols. Instead, we maintain relational frameworks in which new ways of perceiving, relating and responding emerge, and where each contribution modifies the collective fabric.

This approach is based on a mixed economy that articulates different forms of value.

What We Do

Let's talk
Explore
Shared Experience Laboratories

We create intensive, temporary spaces where groups come together to explore collectively. Through dialogue, presence and social arts, we create environments in which shared uncertainty can be a source of generativity.

These are not training sessions where knowledge is imparted by an expert. They are fields of practice in which participants and facilitators are exposed to whatever may emerge together.

They are offered in the spirit of gift-giving as part of our commitment to experimentation and shared learning.

Ecologies of Practice/Capacity Building Partnership

Practice ecologies are our long-term (three to twelve months) embedded partnerships. Rather than viewing this work as a delivery programme, we see it as cultivating a living system of relationships and learning within an organisation or community.

We work directly with professionals, organisations, communities and institutions that are dealing with complex issues that cannot be resolved using conventional methods.

We co-design specific processes for each context. Rather than providing standardised interventions, we support the development of responses based on the uniqueness of individuals and groups.

These labs are paid and contribute to the economy that sustains our infrastructure.

Initiatives with Their Own Life

Our initiatives are intentional practices that build readiness for the future.

Some of these projects grow to become autonomous, with their own identity and community. While independent, they stay connected to the foundational values from which they emerged.

What WellSpaces Does:
  • Builds sustainable infrastructures where personal wellbeing drives collective transformation
  • Connects grassroots youth work with policy-making dialogue across Europe

C.A.S.A. Reggello

From an old factory to an Open Artistic-Social Center

How does one open a space?
How do we create a home for our work?

These questions guide us. We believe a space isn't a pre-existing condition, but unfolds through being inhabited.

C.A.S.A. Reggello is where creativity, European connections and inclusion converge to respond to contemporary urgencies. This physical and social platform in Reggello, Florence leverages creative practice to address current challenges while fostering collaboration among diverse communities.

Sustaining the Practice

This work is sustained collectively and in a diversified manner.

Internally, through constant supervision and intervision among those of us who imagine, think and do ParamitaLab.

Economically, through a deliberate mix of paid work that sustains the infrastructure, initiatives in the spirit of giving that nurture experimentation, and participation in European collaboration programmes.

This diversity of forms of support is not arbitrary: it directly reflects the type of work we do and the diversity of audiences and contexts with which we collaborate.

Collaborations

We work closely with:

Antigóna — our main partner: Founded in 2008, this organisation develops solidarity and inclusion projects at local and European levels, integrating social, digital and educational dimensions.

European networks
— Through Erasmus+ and other European Commission programs, we collaborate on transnational projects that nurture shared learning, experimentation and collective growth around inclusion and capacity building.
